The Cubans Special Edition with DVD Now Available

Brenda Kelley, filmmaker of the DVD They Are Cubans which accompanies the slipcased and deluxe slipcased editions of The Cubans by Jack Combs, called yesterday to announce that production of the DVD is completed and the limited edition versions are ready for shipment. This 57-minute DVD can only be purchased with the slipcased and deluxe slipcased editions of the books. Copies are available for preorder now.

Combs and Kelley traveled to Cuba on numerous trips, over the course of 8 years for Combs, Kelley accompanying him on 3 trips for a total of five weeks. On these documentary trips the pair captured a taste of the culture outside of the confines of Havana. Although many books have been published on this region, very few have encapsulated such a rich picture of this nation, its people and traditions.
